Terms of Use

Rules for using the PCT website, taxpayer intake, Client Portal, Agent-personalized pages, and preparer

enrollment experience.

These Terms support PCT’s centralized tax-office model while preserving the separate return-specific agreements,

signatures, payment selections, and bank-product disclosures completed in the Client Portal.

Effective date: September 9, 2026

below.

Please read before using PCT

By accessing or using the PCT website or connected online services, you agree to these Terms to the extent applicable to your use.

Return preparation, e-filing, bank products, and preparer contracting may also require separate agreements or authorizations.

1. About PCT and the Platform

PCT Professional Services LLC operates pctquickfile.com and connected public intake, Client Portal, Agent Portal, preparer

enrollment, and support experiences. PCT may provide tax-preparation services through authorized independent contractor

preparers who use the PCT platform and workflow.

An Agent-personalized intake page may display a preparer’s name, business profile, photo, or personalized link. The page

remains powered by PCT Professional Services LLC. PCT’s website policies apply to those pages unless a separate written

agreement expressly states otherwise.

2. Eligibility and Authority

You must be legally capable of entering into agreements applicable to the service you request. If you submit information for

another person, business, spouse, dependent, or household member, you represent that you are authorized to provide the

information and request the applicable service.

Taxpayer-facing services are intended for adults. Information about children or dependents may be provided by an authorized

taxpayer or adult when necessary for tax preparation.

3. Submitting an Intake Does Not Guarantee Filing

Submitting an intake, estimate, lead form, document, or message does not guarantee that PCT will accept an engagement,

prepare a return, meet a filing deadline, obtain a particular tax result, or electronically file a return. PCT may need additional

documents, identity verification, payment arrangements, signatures, due-diligence answers, or other information before work

can proceed.

PCT may decline, pause, or stop work when information is incomplete, inconsistent, suspicious, outside PCT’s service scope,

or cannot be handled in compliance with applicable law or professional obligations.

4. Your Responsibility for Complete and Accurate Information

Taxpayers are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and timely information. This includes:

• All income documents and corrected documents received before filing.

• Accurate dependent, residency, filing-status, household, credit, deduction, health-insurance, and business information.

• All tax forms that may affect the return, even if a document arrives after the initial intake.

• Accurate bank/refund-delivery information when a direct-deposit or bank-product option is selected.

• Prompt answers to reasonable due-diligence or document requests.

PCT and the assigned preparer may rely on information provided by the taxpayer unless additional verification is required. The

taxpayer must notify PCT promptly if information changes or a missing document is discovered.

5. Estimates, Calculations, and Tax Outcomes

Any refund estimate, preliminary quote, scenario, calculator result, or draft calculation is informational and may change after

documents are reviewed or additional information is entered. PCT does not guarantee a refund amount, tax liability, credit,

deduction, refund timing, refund advance, bank-product approval, or acceptance by the IRS or a state tax agency.

A return marked FILED or TRANSMITTED is not the same as a return being ACCEPTED by a taxing authority. PCT’s workflow

may show separate status updates for transmitted, accepted, rejected, funded, amended, or other states.

6. Tax Preparation Fees and Payment Options

PCT charges tax-preparation and related service fees based on the forms, schedules, states, complexity, and services

required. A quote may change if the information provided by the taxpayer changes or additional forms or services are required.

Depending on the service and eligibility, a taxpayer may be offered direct payment through Stripe or an available pay-by-

refund/refund-transfer or other bank-product option. Bank-product fees and eligibility are separate from PCT’s tax-preparation

fee and are governed by the applicable provider’s disclosures.

PCT may require the taxpayer to select or complete the required payment arrangement before a return is transmitted. If a

refund is too small, a bank product is unavailable, or eligibility requirements are not met, payment may be required directly.

7. Permission to File, E-Signatures, and Return Authorization

PCT’s Client Portal includes return-specific review and authorization steps. These may include a Permission to File step,

federal Form 8879, state e-file authorizations, preparation agreements, disclosures, and bank-product documents when

applicable.

You agree that electronic actions, acknowledgments, signatures, and records may be used to document your decisions and

authorizations to the extent permitted by law. PCT will not treat these general Website Terms as a substitute for any return-

specific authorization or consent that must be separately obtained.

8. Optional Bank Products and Refund Delivery

If PCT offers a refund-transfer, refund-advance, check-delivery, or other bank-product option, the product is provided or

administered by the applicable financial institution or third-party provider and is subject to separate eligibility rules, fees,

disclosures, and agreements.

PCT does not guarantee approval, funding amount, funding date, or availability of any bank product. Selecting a bank product

does not change the taxpayer’s obligation to provide accurate tax information.

9. Stripe Payments

PCT uses Stripe to process direct payments for PCT tax-preparation services and PCT preparer training/onboarding. Stripe

processes supported payment credentials in its payment environment. PCT may receive transaction details needed for

accounting, customer support, refunds, disputes, and payment-status tracking.

A taxpayer should contact PCT promptly about duplicate, incorrect, or unrecognized PCT charges. Refund and cancellation

rules are described in PCT’s Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Deadlines and Extensions

Taxpayers are responsible for providing information early enough for PCT to perform the requested work. PCT does not

guarantee completion by a filing deadline when documents, payment arrangements, signatures, identity verification, or required

responses are not received in time.

An extension generally extends the time to file, not the time to pay tax. Any extension service is subject to separate fee and

service details when applicable.

11. Client Portal Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of access codes, passwords, devices, and email accounts used to

access PCT. Do not share secure portal credentials with unauthorized persons. Notify PCT promptly if you believe an account,

access code, or document has been compromised.

Do not send sensitive taxpayer information through public social-media messages or other channels when PCT provides a

secure portal or document workflow for that information.

12. Communications

By providing contact information, you authorize PCT to send service-related communications regarding intake, documents,

signatures, payment, portal messages, account security, training/onboarding, and return status. Service communications are

necessary to administer the relationship and may not be optional while a service is active.

Optional marketing communications, if any, are handled separately and may be subject to additional consent requirements.

13. Agent and Contractor Applicants

PCT’s preparer opportunity is an independent contractor opportunity, not a promise of W-2 employment. Paying an enrollment

or training fee does not by itself guarantee certification, production access, tax-software access, client volume, earnings, or

continued contractor status.

Applicants and contractors must satisfy PCT’s onboarding requirements, maintain any required current PTIN or other

credentials, complete assigned training and certification steps, provide accurate W-9 and onboarding information, and follow

PCT’s compliance and security requirements.

Contractor compensation, client assignment, tax-software access, production access, direct deposit, and other contractor

matters are governed by separate contractor terms and PCT operational policies.

14. Prohibited Use

You may not use PCT to:

• Submit information you know is false, fraudulent, stolen, or unauthorized.

• Access another person’s account, return, documents, or messages without authorization.

• Attempt to bypass security controls, roles, client assignments, payment controls, or access restrictions.

• Upload malicious software or interfere with PCT systems.

• Use PCT intellectual property, client data, training materials, or systems in a way that violates law or a PCT agreement.

• Use taxpayer information for unrelated marketing, solicitation, or disclosure in violation of applicable tax-return

confidentiality rules.

15. Third-Party Services

PCT relies on third-party services for functions such as tax software, e-file transmission, hosting, authentication, email delivery,

payment processing, scheduling, and bank products. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. PCT

is not responsible for outages, decisions, underwriting, or independent acts of third parties outside PCT’s reasonable control.

16. Intellectual Property

The PCT website, brand, portal design, training content, workflow materials, text, graphics, software configuration, and other

PCT-created materials are owned by or licensed to PCT and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law. No ownership

rights are transferred merely by using the website or participating in a PCT program.

17. Service Availability and Changes

PCT may update, maintain, suspend, or modify website features to improve security, compliance, reliability, or operations. PCT

will use reasonable efforts to preserve active client and preparer workflows but does not guarantee uninterrupted access to

every feature at all times.

18. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PCT’s website and general informational tools are provided on an “as available”

basis. Tax results depend on the taxpayer’s facts, documents, applicable law, and the final prepared return. No website

statement creates a guarantee of tax outcome, refund timing, government acceptance, bank-product approval, or earnings

opportunity.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PCT is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive

damages arising solely from website use, third-party outages, or matters outside PCT’s reasonable control. Nothing in these

Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for willful misconduct or other obligations that applicable law

does not allow PCT to disclaim.

20. Suspension or Termination of Access

PCT may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect taxpayer information, investigate suspected fraud

or misuse, comply with law, enforce agreements, respond to security concerns, or protect PCT, clients, preparers, and service

providers.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable federal law and, to the extent state law applies, the laws of the State of Georgia,

without limiting any mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived. Venue and dispute procedures may also be

addressed in a separate engagement or contractor agreement.

22. Changes to These Terms

PCT may update these Terms when services, laws, vendors, or business practices change. The effective date will be updated

when revised. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law, but a new website term will

not replace a separate consent, signature, or agreement that must be obtained independently.
