PCT Professional Services LLC (“PCT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates pctquickfile.com and the connected tax-preparation

workflow used by PCT clients and authorized independent contractor preparers. Some public intake pages may display an

assigned preparer’s name, business profile, photo, or personalized referral link. Those pages remain part of the PCT platform

and are subject to this Privacy Policy.

For privacy questions or requests, contact support@pctproservices.com.

Stripe’s payment environment. PCT receives payment-related information such as the payer name, email, amount, transaction

4. Special Protection for Tax Return Information

Tax return information is subject to special federal protections. PCT limits the use and disclosure of tax return information to tax

preparation and related purposes permitted by law, service administration, and other authorized purposes. When a separate

taxpayer consent is required for a particular use or disclosure, PCT will use a separate consent process rather than treating

acceptance of this Privacy Policy as that consent.

This Privacy Policy does not replace Form 8879, state e-file authorizations, Permission to File, engagement terms, bank-

product disclosures, or any consent required under Internal Revenue Code Section 7216 or other applicable law.

No sale of taxpayer information

PCT does not sell or rent tax return information. We do not use a taxpayer’s return information to market unrelated products or

services when the law requires separate consent.

5. How We Share Information

PCT may disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to:

• Assigned PCT preparers and authorized staff. An authorized preparer may access information for clients assigned to

that preparer. PCT personnel may access information as needed for support, compliance, quality, security, or

administration.

• Tax software, e-file, and return-processing providers. Information may be transmitted to systems used to prepare,

calculate, electronically file, validate, store, or track a return.

• Federal, state, and local tax authorities. Information is disclosed as necessary to file returns, respond to

acknowledgments or rejections, and comply with law.

• Stripe. Stripe processes direct PCT preparation-fee payments and PCT preparer training/onboarding payments. Stripe

receives payment information needed to process those transactions.

• Bank-product, refund-transfer, and refund-delivery providers. If a client chooses an eligible option, information may be

shared with the applicable financial institution or provider under its own terms, privacy notice, and eligibility rules.

• Technology and communications providers. PCT uses service providers for hosting, secure storage, authentication,

email delivery, file handling, security, and related operations.

• Professional advisers. Attorneys, accountants, insurers, auditors, and other professional advisers may receive information

when reasonably necessary and permitted by law.

• Legal and safety purposes. We may disclose information in response to lawful process, regulatory obligations, fraud or

security incidents, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of PCT, clients, preparers, or others.

• Business transactions. If PCT is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale, information may be

handled as permitted by applicable tax-return confidentiality and privacy laws.

6. Financial Information Notice

PCT receives nonpublic personal information in connection with tax-preparation and related financial-service workflows. We

restrict access to people and service providers who need information for permitted business, processing, servicing, security,

compliance, or legal purposes. We require appropriate handling of customer information by service providers consistent with

applicable obligations.

If applicable law gives a consumer a right to limit a particular category of sharing, PCT will provide the required notice or choice.

PCT does not use this website notice to obtain any consent that must legally be provided separately.

7. Security

PCT maintains administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed for the sensitivity of taxpayer and financial

information. Safeguards include access controls, authentication, role-based permissions, security monitoring, controlled

document and workflow access, service-provider oversight, and incident-response procedures appropriate to PCT’s operations.

No internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Clients and preparers are responsible for protecting

passwords, using trusted devices and networks, and promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

8. Data Retention

PCT retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain tax-preparation and e-file records,

meet legal or regulatory recordkeeping obligations, support audits and disputes, maintain security logs, administer contracts

and payments, and protect PCT’s legal rights. Retention periods can differ by record type.

A deletion request does not require PCT to delete information that must be retained for tax, accounting, legal, security, fraud-

prevention, or recordkeeping purposes.

9. Cookies, Analytics, and Website Technologies

PCT may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, site functionality, and analytics. Where

required by applicable law, PCT will provide appropriate notice or choices for nonessential tracking technologies.

If PCT later deploys advertising pixels, cross-site advertising technologies, or new analytics tools, this Policy and any cookie

controls should be updated before those tools are used with taxpayer-facing pages.

Depending on your relationship with PCT and applicable law, you may be able to:

• Ask PCT to correct inaccurate contact or profile information.

• Request access to certain personal information maintained about you, subject to authentication and legal limitations.

• Request deletion of eligible information that PCT is not legally or operationally required to retain.

• Unsubscribe from optional marketing communications while continuing to receive service and security messages.

• Ask questions about how information is used or shared.

13. A taxpayer or authorized adult may provide information about children or other dependents when that information is

necessary for tax preparation. PCT uses dependent information for the tax and service purposes described in this Policy.

tools, or other services. A third party’s own privacy policy and terms apply when you interact directly with that third party. PCT is

not responsible for a third party’s independent privacy practices.

13. Changes to This Policy

PCT may update this Privacy Policy when laws, vendors, technology, services, or business practices change. The updated

effective date will appear on the Policy. Material changes will be communicated when required by law.
