Work directly with an IRS Authorized e-File Provider — no confusion, no pressure, no surprises. Get a free quote or start your secure drop-off. I personally review every return before anything is filed.
Returning clients can verify what PCT already has on file. New clients can start with a clean, guided intake. Either way, you stay in control before anything is filed.
We never fluff returns. We check every credit & deduction so you don’t leave a dollar on the table that’s rightfully yours.
Same-day bank approval.
Pre-Act advances are available to returning clients only. Post-Act advances are available to all clients once the IRS officially opens — subject to availability & bank approval.
See your numbers & a transparent quote first. Only sign if you approve.
Getting a refund? Your prep fee can be deducted from it — nothing out of pocket to start.
New clients get a draft to review first. Your SSN is only requested after you approve and decide to file.
Love your experience? Enter your referrer’s name on the form so they get paid.
Tax rules can vary by year and individual situation. Your preparer reviews the information and documents you provide, confirms applicable forms and credits, and explains the return before anything is filed.
Clear information helps create an accurate return. If anything is missing or unclear, your preparer will let you know what needs attention.
Take your time, provide the best information you have, and ask questions whenever you need help.
Your return is reviewed against current IRS guidance and your specific income — not trends or guesses. You’ll receive a clear review and a $0 quote first, and nothing moves forward unless you approve it.

A few quick details so your estimate fits your situation.
Use the totals from your W-2 box 1, 2 and 17 — or your final paystub.
A quick age-group count helps us prepare your preliminary estimate. Your tax professional will confirm the full details later.
This quick estimate uses the age groups you select. It does not estimate EITC or childcare until full dependent information is collected.
Tap everything that applies. No form left behind — this shapes your forms & estimate.
Almost there — this is the last step before your preview.
A live review can help catch missing forms, credits, filing details, and document issues that a quick calculator may not catch.

A few quick details and we’ll guide you to the right next step.
Tell us what changed since last year — we’ll only ask about the things that did.
Use the email and Social Security number from your prior filing. The secure match happens on the server, and your SSN is never saved in this browser.
We’ll show you what is already on file so you can confirm it is still accurate.
PCT can submit your individual or small-business tax extension. We’ll ask a few questions, help you decide if you should send a payment, and prepare your extension invoice.
An extension gives you more time to file your return, but it does not extend the time to pay any taxes that may be owed. Interest and penalties may apply if taxes are not paid by the original deadline.
PCT can help estimate a payment amount based on the information you provide, but the taxpayer is responsible for paying any tax owed by the original deadline.
After your extension is prepared, you will receive an invoice. The invoice must be paid before PCT transmits the extension.
If a return was already filed and something was missed, reported wrong, or changed later, PCT can review the original return and supporting documents to prepare an amended return quote.
For an amended return, PCT generally needs the original filed return, any corrected or missing tax forms, IRS/state notices, and the reason for the change.
Submitting this request does not amend or file anything. Shaylah will review your documents, confirm the official quote, and send next steps manually.
Refund availability for amended returns is limited by IRS timing rules. Older years may still need to be filed or corrected for compliance, balance-due, or IRS notice reasons.
A few broad questions help us build your personal checklist. You can upload documents instead of typing numbers whenever a tax form already shows the information.
Choose everything that applies. We’ll ask only the follow-ups you need.
Your answers create a short list of documents or information to provide.
These flags help the preparer look in the right place later. They are not final tax determinations.
If you are not sure about an ID number yet, choose “No SSN / ITIN yet” and your tax professional will follow up securely. These values are never placed in URLs or notes.
Share what you know. If something is unclear, choose “Not sure” or give your best answer—your tax professional will review it with you.
Answering these helps us determine if you qualify for additional deductions, which in most cases can lower what you owe or make your refund larger. We want to make sure you get every penny.
Side jobs, gig work, cash jobs, freelance work, contract work, or your own small business — even occasional or informal work counts (hair or beauty services, house cleaning, driving, selling items, and similar).
Annual totals are enough for this step. You do not need to enter every receipt.
